Ontario Technology Triangle
November turned out to be a busy month for our marketing team; following on from the success of Technology world we had the pleasure in co hosting representatives from the Ontario Technology Corridor (OTC) in Canada.
The event saw presentations from East of England International, Cambridge Network, HSBC and of course Artaius, dealing with practical issues surrounding Canadian companies looking to invest into the Eastern region as well as a presentation from OTC for UK business looking to collaborate with Canadian technology companies and even look towards Ontario as part of their international expansion plans.
Employing nearly 256,000 people among 5,900 companies in the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa Region, Waterloo Region, City of London and Niagara Region, the Ontario Technology Corridor offers one of the world's best educated, motivated and stable workforces. In the unique experiences of those people are stories about living, working and playing in a part of Canada that celebrates technology talent and entrepreneurial spirit like no other.
Ontario boasts the birth of the Blackberry, which is now more than just a phone or e-mail device in the business world, but is now a brand in its own right.
